Welcome back to part of drawing Stitch make sure to go back to part 1 on my page if you haven’t seen it yet 🙂 !
Step 1 :For the next step, we'll erase the bottom half of Stitch's face and draw two half circles that will serve as his shoulders. Make sure the lines of the half circles are smooth and flowing, and that they're well-placed at the bottom of the head. The shoulders will help us create the foundation for the rest of Stitch's body. ( See picture above )
Step 2 : Perfect! In this step, we'll start building the body by drawing a long "U" shape with some dents in the middle on both sides. Then, at the bottom of the "U" shape, we'll draw a line to create the arms. Finally, on the sides, we'll draw two small lines that will form the legs. Keep in mind that the lines should be smooth and flowing, and the proportions should be balanced to create a realistic and detailed drawing of cartoon Stitch.
Step 3 : We'll add some small details to the hands and feet to give them more character. First, for the hands, we'll add small triangles on each claw to represent Stitch's iconic claws. For the feet, we'll add circles on both sides and then smaller circles at the very top. And don't forget the small circle in the middle of the feet for extra detail! Lastly, we'll add three tiny lumps in the center of the chest to complete the look of cartoon Stitch. Just remember to keep the shapes smooth and flowing.
Step 4 : Fantastic! We're now on to the face details. For the eyes, we'll draw two large half ovals facing opposite directions and fill in the insides with small circles representing the pupils. Adding a tiny white dot on the pupils for highlights will give them a more realistic touch (just like the picture). For the nose, we'll draw a rounded oval with a small line at the bottom, and in the rounded oval, we'll place two dark circles.
Great! We're almost done with the face details. For the mouth, we'll draw a long line crossing the face. Keep in mind that you can add a slight curve to the line to create a smiling or frowning expression, depending on your preference. This will give cartoon Stitch a more expressive and lively look.
Wonderful! We've completed the basics of drawing cartoon Stitch! By now, you should have a clear outline and all the necessary details for a charming and lifelike drawing. As a bonus, here are some additional tips to keep in mind:
* Pay attention to the proportions and shapes of each feature, like the ears, eyes, and mouth, to stay true to the cartoon character.
* Take your time and be patient – drawing is a process that requires focus and precision.
* Don't be afraid to experiment and find your own style.
