Lunar Black - Daniel Smith - Watercolor

Lunar Black.

Highly pigmented and finely ground watercolors made by hand in the USA. Extra fine watercolors produce clean washes, even layers, and also possess superior lightfastness properties. Lunar Black is an inorganic neutral black watercolor pigment. A transparent black with an expansive value range and pigment particles that react like magnetic shavings attracting and repelling each other. When dry, a Lunar Black wash resembles a marbled moonscape.
